Jason
Newburg
DOB: June 2, 1983
I
was born in Dayton Ohio and at the young age of 4 moved to Tokyo,
Japan. I lived in Asia for 18 years moving from Japan to Hong
Kong and finally to Singapore. Living overseas provided me with
an exceptional education and countless experiences traveling the
world. I was fortunate enough to climb Mt. Everest, swim with
dolphins in New Zealand, climb the great wall of China, and navigate
my way through the great barrier reef, just to name a few.
My
broadcasting career began in 1999 when I was asked to do some
voiceover work for Levi’s jeans. I recorded 4 commercials
for Levi’s jeans that were heard nationwide in Singapore
over 3 separate radio stations.
Upon
completion of my Associate’s degree at the University of
Nevada Las Vegas, I moved to Boston, Massachusetts to further
my career in broadcasting by attending the Connecticut School
of Broadcasting. At CSB I had extensive training in radio performance
and production, television performance and production, broadcast
news and sports journalism, along with commercial interpretation
and copywriting.
I
completed my degree at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting
in January of 2007 and quickly began working as an intern for
the largest grossing sports radio station in the United States,
WEEI 850AM in Boston, Massachusetts.
After
completing my internship program with WEEI, I moved back to Las
Vegas and began working for the RETAKS Corporation creating and
producing numerous voiceover spots for both their website and
numerous live events across the world that feature the RETAKS
Corporation.
On
a daily basis I continue to sharpen both my voice and production
skills with state of the art technology provided by both Apple®
and Sony®.
